How Great
Thou Art-Off

Tonight, SALT family, you have homework. A pastor needs you. Read the email below. Feel the feelings. You have felt them before.

Your mission: design one sermon series graphic for “Anchored: Setting Sail in a Desert Season.” Compelling, beautiful, or deeply funny; all three paths can win. Honor the brief, or interpret it the way you wish clients would let you.

The rules:

  1. One entry per person. Any tools you want, including AI.
  2. 16:9 landscape, JPG or PNG, under 10MB.
  3. Email your entry to salt2026@saltcommunity.com
  4. Subject line: your name + your church or organization.
  5. Deadline: 7:00 AM tomorrow morning. Sharp. Late entries will be prayed for, but not judged.

Bonus points:

Go fully human. AI is allowed. But if your entry was made with zero AI, say so in your email, and the judges will give you bonus credit. Honor system. This is a church conference. God is watching.

Then what?

The SALT team will judge overnight submissions first thing in the morning. THREE winners will be revealed on the big screens in tomorrow morning's session. Are there prizes? Yes. What are they? We're not telling you.

By entering, you agree we can show your work on screens. Keep it clean; Pastor Dale's congregation is watching.

Subject: RE: URGENT!!! New sermon series art needed by tomorrow (fun one)!!.

Hey friend! Hope you're having a blast at your conference. Quick thing. The elders and I met tonight, and we are PIVOTING the fall series. God is really moving. The new series is called... Anchored: Setting Sail... in a Desert Season.

I need the series graphic by first thing tomorrow morning. Should be easy, since you're at a creativity conference anyway!

A few thoughts to guide you. But honestly... total creative freedom. Make it pop, but keep it reverent. Modern, but timeless. Nothing trendy... but fresh. Not too churchy, but make sure it's clearly biblical. I like that font from the movie... you know the one.

Keep it SIMPLE. Just the title, the subtitle, the Scripture verse... and one of those scanny code squares.

Can't wait to see what the Lord does through you! No pressure, but the banner printer needs it by 7am tomorrow.

Blessings, Pastor Dale.
